Wildcat Exploration Maps
This is an excellent map of the Rice Lake Area which is on the same geological geenstone belt as Red Lake, Ontario. The map shows the claims of Wildcat Exploration - WEL.V, San Gold - SGR.T, Strikepoint Gold - SKP.V, Cougar Minerals - COU.V, Golden Pocket Resources, which is a private company, and Bison Gold - BGE.V

Why I like Claude Resources
When Redlake had the big goldrush, there were 3 original mines. The Campbell Mine produced the most gold. It was bought out by Placer Dome, which was bought out by Barrick. So the Campbell mine is now Barrick.
The Dickenson Mine was bought out by Goldcorp and the found the deep gold through their "Goldcorp Challenge".
The 3rd Mine was the Madsen Mine, which was bought by Claude resources and is currently being dewatered, and drilled by CRJ.
I thought it was a good one because they have the Seabee mine which is in operation, and they've been profitable. Figured they would have some income to do exploration on the Red Lake property.
This was the reason I originally bought CRJ, so this latest news on Amisk was icing on the cake.

Rye Patch Gold
Rye Patch Gold has abnormal trading volume today. This one's been on my watchlist for a while. The company has interesting management, and the President, Mr. Howald is a co-founder of Rye Patch Gold. Prior to joining Rye Patch, he was General Manager of Exploration, United States and Latin America, for Placer Dome Inc.
The company is exploring for gold in Nevada on the Oreana Trend.

Wildcat Exploration
Wildcat Exploration (WEL-V) has been stuck in a trading range of .055 up to .08 for months. They have an extensive list of properties, but the most exciting is the property surrounding San Gold's mine in Bissett, Manitoba. They've completed drilling and are waiting for the results.
Wildcat’s Reed Lake Project, in Northern Manitoba, is surrounded by recent volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS - Copper, Zinc, Gold) and magmatic Nickel-Copper discoveries. In the vicinity of the Reed Lake Project, the area has been the focus of exploration successes at the Discovery Zone on the VMS Ventures Inc. / HudBay property, Rockcliff Resources’ Rail deposit, and Cream Minerals’ Wine deposit. The area has also witnessed renewed interest with the discovery of the significant Lalor deposit by HudBay.
They've moved the drill to the Reed Lake Project and are currently drilling.
The President and CEO is John Knowles. Mr. Knowles has over 25 years experience in senior roles with Canadian and international resource companies. Prior to joining Wildcat in 2007 he was Executive V.P. and CFO of Aur Resources Inc. from 2005 to 2006. He was CFO of Hudson Bay Mining and Smelting Inc. from 1996 to 2005 and, following its acquisition by HudBay Minerals Inc., he was concurrently V.P. and CFO of HudBay until 2005.
Mr. Knowles is currently a director for HudBay Minerals.
I have high expectations for the company in 2011 and have been slowly accumulating the stock from .055 up to .085.
